Our state-of-the-art animal hospital features advanced on-site capabilities, including a full diagnostic lab, radiology, surgery, endoscopy, echocardiography, and cutting-edge imaging like CT and MRI.

We are excited to have a veterinary cardiologist, critical care specialist, neurologist, internal medicine specialist, ophthalmologist, radiologist, and surgeon who are all board certified by their respective colleges. The emergency department is run by a team of extremely experienced emergency veterinarians, including our board-certified critical care specialist.

Through this high level of expertise, we are proud to pave the way for new advancements in veterinary medicine in Edmonton and the surrounding area. As a premier referral hospital, we are proud members of the community who work hard every day to provide the best possible care for you and your pet.

How Our Triage System Works

We operate on a triage system, which means your pet is assessed within minutes by one of our experienced Veterinary Technologists. Your pet is then placed in the queue to see the veterinarian according to the urgency of their medical needs. While our emergency hospital is fully staffed to minimize wait times, delays can occur during peak periods if your pet is deemed medically stable.

Should more advanced diagnostics or therapies be required, the emergency medical team at Pulse has direct access to board-certified specialists and residency-trained veterinarians in Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Surgery, and Neurology.
