I recently had to put down my beloved cat, Milo, here. He was really ill suddenly and I was lucky to find this place, I brought him there ASAP and they got him in quickly. Unfortunately his health was severe and they told me my options, being helpful and compassionate the whole way through. They let me and my boyfriend in to say goodbye and sit with Milo as he passed over. They were super helpful, empathetic, and understanding the whole way through. While it was expensive, it was understandable due to my cats condition and they told me about all procedures and prices before they went ahead with them. I’m really thankful for this place making our final Moments with Milo peaceful.

My first experience here was bringing in my very small Chihuahua who was having trouble breathing. The staff and Dr Williams were kind and gentle with him in the clinic and with me on the phone in the parking lot as I definitely was worried. All worked out well and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost considering this was an emergency situation on the weekend. I read some of the reviews and I was surprised that many were shocked about not being able to go in because of Covid precautions. This is for the staff, your animals and your protection. It just makes sense for now!

The doctors and techs at Pulse are just wonderful. They treated me and my dog with caring respect and really wonderful quality medical care. During an incredibly stressful and scary time, on top of the stress of the pandemic, the staff at Pulse made sure I understood the situation with my darling dog, explaining his medical condition and the recommended treatment plan. They even contacted me after he was sent home to check in on him and to see if I had any questions. I’ve taken pets to other Emergency Vet Clinics in the past, this is the first time I really felt like the staff actually cared.

I have used Pulse emergency clinic twice now. I have to say I’m so happy that I took my dog there. The staff treated my dog with the most care and compassion. They made sure they called with updates on my dogs condition as well as advice on the best steps to take next. Not once did I feel like my dog was not being taken care of. The staff treated him like he was their own . Comforting him when he needed cuddles. As well they made sure I was comfortable with treatments and cost before proceeding. My small dog (Auzzie) was referred to the Pulse clinic to see a vet cardiologist. I did not even know there was such a thing before Auzzie was diagnosed with a level 5 heart Murmur but I am so grateful that this caring clinic is here. The clinic is still following strict COVID protocols so when we arrived a very in-depth history was taken on the phone before they took him into the clinic. When Auzzie’s examination was completed, the cardiologist called us to discuss his treatment plan and his ongoing care. Bottom line, I feel Auzzie got excellent care and I am so grateful that with ongoing care I will have my biking buddy for a lot longer

Had a great experience here! My boy had a torn nail, which isn’t exactly emergent but was causing him a ton of pain so we decided to take him in. We were triaged very quickly and my pup was given pain meds right away. We were expecting to wait hours to have the nail removed since it wasn’t very urgent, but they got us in and out very quickly and had very reasonable charges. The vet explained everything very well and all of the staff were very pleasant to deal with.

The vets were all very compassionate when discussing options of my girls treatment and nothing was ever done without consulting me. I wouldn’t hesitate to take her there again! We can’t thank you enough for all of your efforts in helping my sweet little Lacie pull through. My girls second visit to pulse has been great thus far. She is having patellar luxation repaired and while I am nervous for her, the surgeon was patient while answering all of my questions as he thoroughly went through the procedure. Having had her there before assures me that she will be home well cared for.

Hi everyone, I woke up to my pitbull covered in different sized bumps and very un eased. Pulse was very responsive and got her in right away. Pulse Veterinary saved my poor cats life, my husband and I thankfully have never had to use emergency care for our fur babies until this past May long weekend.
Our cat was unfortunately showing severe signs of a blockage, we rushed him into Pulse vet and within minutes a nurse came out to help our poor sick cat. Due to Covid19 we had to stay in the vehicle while they examined him, and with an animal who has never gone into emergency it was quite scary. But within minutes of him being admitted the on call night Dr/Vet called to inform us (very nicely) what was going on and our options for our poor cat. We chose the option to save his life, but with this procedure as well with human procedures there are risks and there is no 100% guarantee it will work. But it was the best option for him.
The next morning after his procedure and a hospitalization stay we get a phone call from the on call day Dr/Vet, she (very sweetly) informed me that he did some damage as he was starting to feel better and the procedure would have to be repeated. Everything seemed to be going okay, until Monday morning. She calls me again to say that he is still struggling and if he doesn’t show improvement on his own he needed surgery just to be functional again. We talked in detail about the options over the phone, just in case his body won’t heal. She explained to me that this was worse case scenario and we weren’t there yet, which was very reassuring.
A few hours later after more monitoring, she called me back and told me the best news yet. He was functioning well on his own, and was able to even go home that night!
As a nervous pet owner, I was so thankful for every phone call Pulse made to us with the updates of his care.
I would definitely recommend this hospital to any animal in need of emergent care. Thank you Pulse, to the reception staff, nurses and the vets for saving my pur baby

Dr. Kim Hawkes is an amazing cardiologist. She is kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. She goes above and beyond when explaining diagnoses and treatment plans to pet parents. She takes the time to thoroughly answer any questions you may have. She changed the course of my kitty’s life when she performed a cardiac ultrasound and discovered he had been misdiagnosed elsewhere with a serious heart condition. This amazing news gave a special little cat a new lease on a long and healthy life! Not to mention I was finally able to wean him off of unnecessary and expensive medications that he had been on for years, unfortunately. We are so very grateful for Dr. Hawkes expertise!

Roxie had a cracked tooth and we took her to our regular vet who then referred her to Pulse and Dr. Suave. Had a long wait. 8 hours. BUT with reason, these guys are on the front line for our pets, at 11pm no one else is open, and most of the emergent cases were deffered. Super busy and stressful, alot of emergency cases ended sadly today, but the staff never made me feel bad for checking in and took my concerns seriously, as well as not showing the toll it was taking on them. Our pup had an allergic reaction last week and right from our first interaction (calling to see if his symptoms warranted us going in), the staff at Pulse were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
The curbside inspection and pickup was so efficient, and Steve was in being treated right away.
We got the call at 2:00 am that the IV and antibiotics were working and we could come pick him up, and we were so relieved.
Awesome service, we were so grateful! As you can see, Steve is back to his normal goofy self! Would highly recommend this clinic to any pet owners.

My dog has a long history of medical mysteries. We have seen a lot of vets and a lot of emergency vets over the last 2 years dealing with his issues. Not only was the front staff of Pulse extremely caring and compassionate the vet we got here was amazing. Due to COVID we couldn’t go in with our Shiba and the whole time they had him I knew he was in the BEST care. The vet was honest with us and fair and very understanding of what we have went through with a lot of diagnoses and offered her own input, and honestly has been the most solid lead on what’s long term going on with my pup. The staff at Pulse are very knowledgeable, experienced and very caring! We had a medical emergency with our 3 month old kitten and they were very compassionate towards us and understood our stress and tried to minimize it where they could. The staff gave me all possible options, did not push me to make costly procedures and even followed up with me after I took my survey.
